Carkeek Park {Zach + Meredith} Seattle Engagement Photographer

I met with Zach + Meredith at Carkeek Park last week, and was pretty excited about this location they chose. There's something about shooting on the beach that is so fun for me... I think it's the fresh air, the water, and the beautiful views across the sound. I love discovering new places in Seattle and these two made this adventure a blast.

Washington Arboretum {John + Victoria} Seattle Engagement Photographer

John & Victoria are such a sweet couple. They love water and so we thought it would be perfect to take photos around Lake Washington. We headed to East Montlake Park in Seattle, which is part of the Washington Arboretum. As we walked around it was so great to see how each of them was so loving to the other. This sweet love for each other made it easy to capture beautiful pictures.

Seattle Family Photographer {Grant + Shala + Caleb}

As promised here is round 2 of Grant and Shala's engagement session. I was very excited when Shala suggested bringing her son Caleb along to take some "family" photos as well. After all, Caleb is definitely a huge part of Shala's life and including him was a no-brainier. These three are about to become a family.

seattle family photo session in edmondsI was a bit disappointed when I arrived at Brackett's Landing Park in Edmonds and there was no sign of sun. This is very typical for February days in Seattle, I guess I just always hope for a glimpse... and I was so thrilled when it popped it's head out. The soft low light of mid-winter is so nice. The wind may have been fierce and cold but it was sure nice to have a bit of sun.

See what I mean about the light! The sun just peeking through those heavy clouds. I LOVE it.

While taking photos of just Grant & Shala, Caleb ran towards me with his little tongue hanging out. It was a lucky one!

Thank you Grant, Shala, and Caleb it what a fun day!
