I received an email from Crystal saying she was looking for a photographer for her wedding. While she ended up having a friend of the family shoot the wedding, I was lucky enough to have a fun bridal session with her. A few weeks before her wedding she had a trial done for her hair and makeup. After she was all done up, her and I headed to her wedding location, which was a small pond surrounded by woods right in her neighborhood. I would love a little get away just a short walk from my house, especially if you can get great photos there, which we did!!
This girl is gorgeous and fun! She is a veterinary and brought her 3 small dogs along. It was fun having them bounce around as we were photographing throughout the evening. I am so happy for her. I saw photos from her wedding day, and it looks like they had a blast. Congratulations!!! Enjoy a few of my favorites from Crystal's bridal session.
I had the honor of taking McKenzie's senior photos here in Seattle, and let me tell you, this girl is pretty special to me. I have known her since she was born. Our families have been great friends and I have spent countless hours with this beautiful lady over the years! She is a jewel, not only because of her amazing good looks, but because she is so generous, sweet and kind.
A few weeks back McKenzie came up to Seattle from Eugene to spend a few days with me, but our real goal was to get some photos :) McKenzie's wish was to get some unique photos that no one else in Eugene would have. I think we can check that off the list. First we headed downtown and to Pikes Market for an urban feel. We finished the shoot down by the ocean waters at Golden Gardens. I love this spot, because it offers beach along the Sound, tall grass, and a small grove of trees all in one spot! I especially love that she brought her cross country gear for a few photos. I love runners and THS!
It was a real joy to spend time with you McKenzie! I wish you the best in your senior year and years to come! Enjoy a few of my favorites from the afternoon. Love ya!
Some of you might remember these two fromtheir engagement seshback in June at Carkeek Park in Seattle. If you don't know Zach + Meredith you may want to consider introducing yourself. My husband introduced me to these two, and I'm so glad he did. They are such a dynamic sweet couple + they know how to throw an awesome party!!
Zach + Meredith were married atUrban Grace Church in downtown Tacoma.Downtown Tacoma is an awesome place for wedding photos and we had fun with it. From the first look at Wright Park, a random parking garage, and the 11th street bridge we got tones of photos. After the wedding we headed to the reception location,Foss Waterway Seaport, which rocked! It was on the water and had views of Mt. Rainier and all the big boats in the seaport. One of my favorite details from this wedding was the Blizzards. Meredith told me she loves Blizzards from DQ and because they always grab one when they are down in Tacoma they decided it would be perfect to have them instead of a cake. I love how fun and personal this was. It was a day filled with so much joy + love + community — Much love and many blessings to you two!
