I don't photograph seniors all that often & it's always because they ask me. Honestly, I'm super intimidated by senior portraits. I know in their hearts how valuable these portraits are & it feels like way to much pressure to do ALL the time. That sounds kind of funny, because you would think a wedding would rank on the same scale... but oddly for me it doesn't. I feel at ease in front of a bride compared to a senior. Maybe it brings me back to high school and all that pressure you put on yourself to "fit in" or maybe that was just me!
Anyway, not something I do all too often, but I was so excited when Delaney asked me :) she is an amazing friend & we love her dearly. She is off to school in San Diego this year and I though it would be fun to have a beach theme/ feel to showcase not only one of Seattle's beauties (Alki Beach) but foreshadow the adventure she is stepping into. Oh man how I love San Diego beaches!!! I'm so happy how these turned out.
